The KYTC has previously installed a 1.5-inch dense graded asphalt overlay on U.S. 127 in 2012 on the northern site and in 2003 on the southern site. Therefore, treatments on the northern site were applied on 1-year-old pavements. KYTC reported low distress extent and severity at this site before treatment application.
